As a new week unfolds, we are thankful to report that there are no active fire lines at the Buffeljags/Pearly Beach and Hangklip Road/Pringle Bay fires.

Firefighters are attending to a hotspot flare up that was detected in Pringle Bay earlier this morning.

Crew will continue to monitor and patrol the lines until officials are confident there are no lingering hotspots that could flare up again.

This will be the final update for both the Buffeljags/Pearly Beach and Hangklip Road/Pringle Bay fires.
